First Step offers a Youth Employment and Training Program to out of school youth between the ages of 16-21 who are Baltimore County residents and who meet certain income and educational requirements.

This program offers instruction in the core subject matters needed to pass the GED exam in Maryland as well as assistance in job serach skills, resume writing and interviewing skills. The program requires daily attendance in a 90 day program and also supports participants in job placement and on the job followup for a period of 1 year after completion.
